Services + Pricing

Drawing from my training in architecture, layout theory, and gender studies, I approach every space as a site of identity and transformation. I don’t just declutter—I listen. I don’t just design—I affirm.

Whether you're overwhelmed by your closet, stuck in a grief spiral, or ready to glow up your gender expression, my services are designed to honor what’s hard, celebrate what’s sacred, and help you move forward—one room at a time.

  • I work on a sliding scale of $50–$100 per hour.

This means we choose a rate together that reflects your needs, the scope of the work, and my capacity. No forms. No proof. Just a conversation rooted in trust and transparency.

If you’re not sure where you fall, we’ll figure it out together

You don’t need to have the right words.
You don’t need to be “ready.”
    Messy explanations are welcome.

  • I don’t just show up and organize. I bring structure, follow-through, and care that continues before, during, and after our time together.

When we work together, you can expect:

    • Before-and-after photo documentation of your space (with your consent), so progress is visible, affirming, and easy to remember later

    • Session recap & encouragement summaries after our work together, naming what we accomplished and honoring progress, including the invisible labor

    • A shared living transparency document that can include:

      • Notes from our conversations

      • Working hours and session logs

      • To-do lists and next steps

      • Research, links, and resources

      • Plans and timelines we’re building together

    • Flexible invoicing, including:

      • Session-based invoices

      • Weekly invoices for ongoing or intensive projects

    • Thoughtful follow-up emails with updates, clarity, and genuine encouragement

    • Text message check-ins when helpful, including:

      • Friendly reminders around personal deadlines

      • Gentle nudges to support momentum between sessions

    • Research into ethical donation centers, mutual aid options, and responsible re-homing for items leaving your space

    • Clear communication, realistic planning, and no shame when plans shift

This work is collaborative, transparent, and paced to support real life. You’re not expected to remember everything, track everything, or carry the process alone.

  • Your hourly rate may shift within the $50–$100 range based on a combination of the following:

    Accessibility & Labor

    • Multiple flights of stairs

    • Heavy lifting or physically demanding work

    • Large or complex spaces

    • Pets in the home

    • Sensory or access needs (which I’m happy to accommodate)

    Logistics

    • Travel time

    • Parking, tolls, or transit costs

    • Haul-away coordination or donation runs

    Urgency & Pace

    • Tight timelines

    • Eviction notices or housing transitions

    • Crisis cleanups or fast turnarounds

    • High-intensity or emotionally heavy sessions

    Care & Community

    • LGBTQ+ and queer community care

    • Financial strain or income instability

    • Mutual aid–aligned work

    • Long-term or repeat clients

None of these are judgments. They’re just realities of labor and care.

  • This work is personal, practical, and often vulnerable. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all pricing, and I don’t believe you need to justify your circumstances to deserve support.

If cost feels scary, say so. If time feels urgent, say so. We’ll build a plan that feels doable.

  • Go To Our Contact page

    1. Reach out via email, hotmessmethod@gmail.com

    2. We’ll schedule a short intake call and I’ll ask you to fill out the Hot Mess Intake Form.

    3. We’ll agree on scope, timing, and a sliding scale rate

    4. We begin

You don’t need a plan before you reach out. That’s part of the work.

  • Sessions are collaborative, paced, and responsive to your capacity.
We may talk, move, pause, reorganize, or problem-solve. Breaks are welcome. Plans can shift.

Some sessions are hands-on. Some are strategic. Many are both.

    Optional note:
If you’re comfortable with it, some clients choose to have me work in their space while they’re at work, on vacation, or away for the day. This can allow me to settle into a focused flow and move efficiently through larger tasks.

This is never required. It’s simply an option that works well for some projects and schedules.

  • Photos, notes, and documentation are never shared without explicit consent.
Your space, your story, and your data are treated with care.
